Colour Picker from Image or Logo

Following on from my recent post regarding HEX colour picker, another subject I thought I would cover is how to find out the RGB and HEX colour codes from an image or logo.

This is particularly useful if you need to know the HEX or RGB colour codes to match your website or blog colour scheme for example.  It is also known as a html color picker.




Below is a free and easy way to find out what colours are being used.

To find a particular colour on an image or logo you will need just two things:

  • The image or logo you want to know the colour code of
  • Colour picker tool from Kleki

Step 1:

Locate your image or logo and import it into Kleki

Step 2:

Select Brush on the right next to Layers then click on the eye dropper icon. Click on the part of the image you want to know the colour code for then click the # icon.

You should see this pop up appear and the HEX code will be displayed:

That is how you pick a colour from an image or logo and find the RGB and HEX codes.
