In this article I am writing a genuine and honest review on the mobile network giffgaff.
I have been a member of giffgaff with a SIM only deal for around a year now so feel it about the right time to write an honest review of the mobile network.
Before I begin, I rate giffgaff 4.5 stars out of 5 for the service they provide. Read on to find out why.
I will start off with what I like about the mobile phone network.
For me, the best thing about giffgaff is that you can upgrade or downgrade your data, text and call plan each month depending on your requirements.
If you know you will need more data one month then you can choose a more expensive goodybag. Click here for the latest giffgaff deals and offers.
As I work in an office all day I am logged into the WIFI and at home I am also in WIFI, so personally, I don’t need a lot of data. My phone bill per month is only £6! Cheap as chips.
The coverage is really good where I am in Leamington Spa and I think I have only lost one day’s service last year due to an outage. This was due to O2 going down which is what the giffgaff network runs on.
Another aspect I like is that they recommend the right goodybag (data bundle) for you. Giffgaff do not try and up sell or rip you off at all.
On to something I don’t like much…
On the app there is a section called “Missions” which you cannot remove from your profile, I am not interested in completing any missions to be honest. It would be good if you could hide that particular part of the homepage screen in the app.
I just want to visit the app to see how much data, texts and call time I have.
But that is the only small niggle I have.
