I have lived in Leamington Spa all my life and can recommend some good places and things to do in Leamington.
If I were to name the top three things that I would recommend Leamington Spa for, it would firstly be cafes, secondly restaurants, then thirdly shopping.
Leamington is a very nice place to walk around if you have never been before and there is plenty of car parking.
Royal Leamington Spa is in the Warwickshire county within the midlands.
It is near to Warwick, Stratford Upon Avon and not too far from Coventry.
The nearest motorway is the M40 and you exit at junction 15 to get to the town centre.
Leamington town has one main road going down the middle called the Parade. There are three roads running through the parade with plenty of really nice cafes, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and a number of nightclubs.
The Royal Priors is very good for shopping which is located in the centre of the town. Boutique shops can be found in the surrounding roads such as Park Street and Regent Street.

Where to eat and drink in Leamington Spa
Eating out in Leamington is a big thing at the moment, the town has seen many new restaurants open especially in Livery Street.
The most popular and recommended places to eat in town would be; La Coppola, Carluccios, Turtle Bay, Nandos, Leif, Zizzi’s and Wildes.
As well as restaurants there are many cafes dotted about Leamington, too many to mention but you are sure to find a nice one for a tea or coffee.
As far as pubs go, if you are looking for nice places I would recommend The Lounge, Leif Bar and Tea Rooms, Turtle Bay for cocktails, The White Horse, Copper Pot, Clarendon and the Jug and Jester Wetherspoons which is down the bottom end of town.
There are certainly more pubs than those mentioned but they would be my choice if I were heading into town for a drink or two. A good place for live music and dancing in Leamington Spa is the Assembly Rooms.
Vue Cinema Leamington Spa
One of the more popular things to do in Leamington Spa is to visit the multi screen Vue cinema located on Portland Place, Leamington Spa, CV32 5ET. The nearest car park is St Peters which is literally opposite the cinema and reasonably priced.
We always park there if we are going to watch the latest film release, follow the signs for St Peters and you will see the cinema. The Vue in Leamington is very good modern, shows the latest blockbusters and has 6 screens. Recommended.
The library in Leamington Spa is located in the Pumps Rooms, Parade, Leamington Spa, CV32 4AA. This is a fairly new library and has some cool facilities as well as books of course.
The library offers free computer and tablet drop-in sessions for the over 50’s has toilets, baby changing facilities and is known as a safe place to go if you feel at risk when out and about.
